It may not always look this way, but as social creatures, we are quite
capable of getting along with those around us. We all have times when we
"play well with others", yet we have moments when we find ourselves lost
or stuck.
Whether we use it or not, each of us has the capacity to handle a
difficult person objectively, take our friends and spouses' shortcomings
in stride, love someone more deeply than before, or offer a wealth of
sensibility about other people's relationships. This capacity only waxes
and wanes within our own minds.
Each of us has yet to reach the limit of having the connected, strong
relationships we want. The potential is endless.
