On Kindness

Linda had a lovely conversation with one of our Virtual Mentees, Chana Rosenblatt and we wanted to share it with you. Chana was recently moved by Sydney Banks' book Dear Liza and one letter, in particular. We've included the letter below and a link to the recording of their conversation. Once you've listened, you'll have a new tool in your toolbox to reach for when you encounter someone difficult.

"Dear Liza, I think you know that I believe you to be very special, I would suggest to you that your own inner beauty will increase and grow as you recognize the beauty in others. This quality may not always seem evident, but I believe you are wise enough to know that everyone has a spark of the divine spirit, which the need only allow to come forth. Try, my dear, if you can, to be kind and considerate to those individuals who have not been graced as you have. Know that although you may not always agree with their ways and their thoughts, they are probably struggling, in their own way, to achieve happiness. Your unexpected kindness may be the light they require to guide them to their own inner peace. With much love, Mum"
