Life Can Look Complicated from the Outside
We’re faced with decisions, difficult people, moods that rise and fall, and moments when life feels heavier than we’d like. But beneath all of that—beneath our habits, emotions, and personal thinking—there is a simpler truth at the heart of being human.

In this four-part live series, George Pransky and Erika Bugbee invite you into honest conversations about ordinary life as it’s actually lived: forgiving what hasn’t gone as planned, staying steady with difficult people, taking yourself less seriously, and being more present in your own life.
Drawing on their combined 75 years of working with people, George and Erika share what they’ve seen truly help when stress, insecurity, or self-pressure take over—not in the form of techniques or quick fixes, but through simple understandings that naturally bring more clarity, ease, and resilience.

What We'll Explore Together
Forgiving Life
Making Peace with Mistakes, Disappointments, and the Hand You Were Dealt

Letting go of the quiet arguments we carry with the past—and discovering how peace emerges when resistance softens.

Dealing with Difficult People
Staying Steady Without Getting Steamrolled

Understanding why other people don’t actually control our inner experience—and how steadiness becomes possible even in challenging relationships.

Taking Yourself Less Seriously
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

Seeing how self-judgment and overthinking lose their grip when we stop taking every thought at face value.

Being More Present in Your Life
A Simple Shift with a Quiet but Powerful Payoff

Exploring how presence naturally appears when the mind settles—and how that changes the quality of everyday moments.

What to Expect
Across four 75-minute sessions, George and Erika will explore some of the most common human challenges and how a shift in understanding can soften pressure, reduce struggle, and open up new possibilities.

Each session includes time for live Q&A, so you’re welcome to bring questions and real-life situations into the conversation.

This is not a course and not a training.
It’s a series of thoughtful, open conversations designed to point you back to what’s already working within you.

Who This Is For
This series is for you if:
-
You feel stuck arguing with life or yourself
-
You’re tired of trying to “figure things out”
-
You want more ease without adding another practice or method
-
You’re curious about living with more steadiness and presence in ordinary moments
-
Whether you’re new to this understanding or have been around it for years, this series is designed to help you reconnect with the wisdom already built into your nature—right in the middle of everyday life.
A Shared Feeling,
A Natural Rapport
